Had a lovely picnic near Tayvallich...enjoying the gorgeous weather....a few white clouds have rolled in but still stunning :-) Makes up for the torrential rain we've had lately! Just contemplating whether to light the BBQ......might tempt fate and it'll start to snow!

The boys went with beavers and Cubs yesterday to Lochgoilhead Scout Centre for a funday and to meet the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls. They had a fabulous time....Toby lost his glasses canoeing...me thinks this won't be the last time this happens:-)

Toby has just become a Cub Scout and said his promise at Dunardry Nature Walk near Cairnbaan..... he's off with Henry to see Bear Grylls (the Chief Scout) on Saturday at Lochgoilhead!

The weather has been fantastic and so the boys have been making very good use of the climbing wall.

Had a busy day tidying the garden...the reward was an ice cream and a trip to the park

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the trees are just about all with leaves...spring has finally sprung!

What a fantastic place.....we went for Toby's birthday weekend....everything is free except the journey in a boat (which we'll do later when the weather is really rubbish - as it is an enclosed boat)

It's been rather busy - what with Birthdays and Easter and enjoying the weather!

Baked hotcross buns and kulich bread, decorated eggs...hunted for eggs in the garden in torrential rain .....we had some amazing roe deer caught by a friend.

Fantastic weather (well apart from the rain of 'Biblical' proportions when the boys were looking for their eggs.... :-)

Happy 8th Birthday Toby.....lots and lots of lego .......and homemade pizza for tea....followed by the obligatory 'do for now' Caterpillar cake - a Vulcan bomber is in the offing for his birthday party - sometime in May when Andy is home.

Toby is eagerly awaiting the leg of his lego dinosaur which mysteriously arrived with 2 left legs - got an email from Denmark to say it is on it's way (lovely email from Lego made Toby's day!)

Easter Sunday Geocache hunt - Ardcastle

A fantastic walk......

Whilst the rest of Britain appears to be blanketed by snow we have had glorious sunshine...albeit it's still pretty cold!

We went for a walk up Glen Kinglas near 'The Rest and be Thankful' pass. Despite the weather there was not a soul in sight. The boys really enjoyed their picnic in a 'group shelter' ....all adds to the adventure!
